Hello from all of us at Szymanski’s Creekside Acres!

We’re so happy you’re here, and we can’t wait to share all the exciting things happening on our farm. Located in the beautiful Port Austin area, we’ve created two distinct yet intertwined spaces: our crop farm and our agri-tourism farm. While each has its own purpose, we love sharing insights and experiences from both with you.

Our Crop Farm – Szymanski Seed & Grain~ Where the Magic Starts (And Where Our Animals Live)

Our crop farm is where our home is and where the hard work starts. It’s completely separate from our agri-tourism farm, but it’s a huge part of what we do and what we’re passionate about. We are raising the 4th generation and have been blessed to care for the land for many generations. On our crop farm, we focus on growing corn, wheat, dry edible beans and soybeans with care, and it’s always a labor of love. We put in the time, effort, and knowledge to grow healthy, nutritious crops, and we’re incredibly proud of the work we do there.

And it’s not just about crops! Our animals call the crop farm home when they’re not visiting Creekside Acres for events. Whether it’s our friendly goats, chickens, or other animals, they enjoy plenty of room to roam around and are an important part of the farm ecosystem. The best part? You’ll often get a chance to meet them when they come over for our special Creekside events—because they love interacting with visitors just as much as we do!

Szymanski Girls Farm Stand- The Farm Stand is also located on our home farm.

This is where our daughters sell our extra eggs, dry beans, jams, sweet corn, and garden produce, along with whatever else suits their fancy or we made extra’s of that day.

While you won’t visit the crop farm directly during our events, we do love sharing stories, tips, and behind-the-scenes info about what goes on. We often talk about the growing process, farming practices, and what it takes to bring food from the field to the table. Our goal is to help everyone understand more about where their food comes from and how it’s grown. You are also always welcome to stop by the Farm Stand when its up and running.

Our Agri-Tourism Farm – Szymanski’s Creekside Acres: Fun, Learning, and Connection

Now, let’s talk about the fun stuff—the agri-tourism farm! This is where we host our events, and it’s a space where people can come together to enjoy the beauty of the land and have a great time. Whether you’re here for a workshop, Christmas tree, fall décor or fun event, we’ve created a space that’s all about making memories.

While our crop farm is all about growing, Szymanski’s Creekside Acres is about connecting. It’s where we host events that allow you to experience farm life up close—without having to get your hands dirty (unless you want to!). Our tours, festivals, and gatherings are designed to bring the community together while giving you a chance to learn about farming in a more interactive way. Please note, we’re only open during certain times and for specific events, so be sure to check our schedule before you come. We want to make sure we’re ready to welcome you and make your visit as enjoyable as possible!

Sharing Knowledge from Both Worlds

One of the things we love most is being able to share insights from both our crop farm and our agri-tourism farm. While you’re at Creekside Acres, you’ll hear us talk about the hard work that goes into our crops, the importance of sustainability, and the simple joys of farm life. We believe in education, and whether you’re here to relax or learn, we’re always excited to offer little tidbits from our crop farm to enrich your visit.

Spring Workshops to Get Creative

• Easter Centerpiece Workshop

  • When: March 16, 2025, 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM

  • What’s it about?: Ready to get into the spring spirit? This workshop lets you create your own beautiful Easter centerpiece. All the materials are provided, and you’ll leave with a gorgeous arrangement that’ll add some charm to your Easter celebrations.

• Summer Wreath Workshop

  • When: May 4, 2025, 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

  • What’s it about?: Get in the summer mood by designing your own custom wreath. You’ll get hands-on with seasonal flowers and materials to make a wreath that’s all your own.

Can’t-Miss Seasonal Festivals

• Highland Cow Carnival

  • When: Sunday, July 13, 2025, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

  • What’s it about?: Meet the adorable Highland cows, Bella, Zoey and a few more friends! There’s going to be all sorts of fun stuff – games, food trucks, photo opportunities, and even a craft class. Just a heads-up – Saturday’s event is already sold out, but you can still grab tickets for Sunday.

• Sunflower Festival

  • When: August 15-17, 2025

  • What’s it about?: Who doesn’t love sunflowers? At this festival, you’ll be surrounded by golden blooms, with plenty of photo ops, local vendors, and activities for the whole family. It’s a perfect way to enjoy the summer weather.

• Creekside Harvest Festival

  • When: September 27-28, 2025, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • What’s it about?: It’s all about celebrating fall at the Creekside Harvest Festival. Think hayrides, face painting, a tractor show, and so much more. It’s perfect for a cozy, family-friendly outing.

Fun Year-Round Activities

• Farm Camps

  • When: June 19, June 25, June 30, July 10, and July 16, 2025, 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

  • What’s it about?: Ever wanted to try your hand at farm life? These camps are all about hands-on activities where you can learn how to care for animals, do some outdoor adventures, and just enjoy the farm vibe. Keep an eye out for more info coming soon!
